...and it all came down to One night
The Scene Reunion Party at Bert's Warehouse Theater in Detroit's Eastern Market on July 16 was 'off the hook.' Former Scene dancers came from all over the country to take part in this historic event. A line formed outside before the doors opened at 8 p.m., and the crowd never stopped coming in. The place was packed, people enjoyed the dance floor, viewing the old Scene shows on the BIG screens and mingling with each other.
A "live" performance by Enchantment was one of the special treats during the evening, in addition to dance routines by some of the more popular dancers, including Cheryl Peoples, Harold Demetrius, Lorenzo Colston, Daphne Andrews, Bobby Johnson, Rhonda Neely, The Huggins Brothers featuring Tony Poindexter, Bobby Williams, The Floor Masters, Rodney L, and Fast Freddy. It was a classic night.
